The Inspirational Women in Health (IWIH) campaign is the brainchild of Dr Maggie Mojapelo. It seeks to promote the outstanding work and incredible strides by women in various sectors of the health industry by highlighting their efforts. IWIH, hence, celebrates their unyielding passion for healthcare and helping to heal those in need. Game-changers, innovators, disruptors and pioneers – those are the type of people we seek to highlight. We want to get to the heart of those at the heartbeat of the medical fraternity. We believe IWIH is doing just that.
Women are celebrated in many fields but women in health leave an imprint on society that will never be forgotten. Our women doctors, nurses, pharmacists, researchers and students help to ensure South Africans can be at their best by keeping them in good health. Our society cannot function without our medical practitioners and women in health who change our country for the better through their care, commitment and courage.
